HUGHES WANTED BOJAN STAY

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has stated that he wanted Bojan Krkic to stay with the club for the season. He said that he is a useful player and that he believes that he has a future with Stoke City.

Mark Hughes said that there is no way that he will sell Bojan Krkic at the moment and that he will return to Stoke City after his loan move to Alaves.

Bojan Krkic spent last season on loan at Mainz, and Mark Hughes has revealed that he wanted the player to remain at Stoke City this season. However, the player wanted to have enough playing time and said that he wanted to go on loan to Alaves this season.

World football governing body FIFA has blocked the switch of Spain international Bojan Krkic to Serbia, according to reports.


The former Barcelona forward wanted to change allegiance to Serbia so a transfer of international eligibility was sought. FIFA denied this request since Bojan has already featured in a World Cup qualifying game for Spain.
