ROMA CLOSE ON KRKIC

Roma are very close to signing Bojan Krkic on a permanent transfer from Barcelona. Reports emerging from Spain have stated that the Spain Under-21 international has already agreed to join Roma yet the side's sporting director, Sabatini has confirmed this is not yet the case.

"In Spain they say Bojan is a Roma player," Sabatini told Sports Network.

"It's very close and very realistic but the deal has not yet been finalised although we hope to do so on the coming days."
