NO CELEBRATIONS

The AC Milan striker Bojan Krkic has said that he will not be celebrating if he scores a goal against Barcelona in the last 16 stage of the Champions League. Bojan Krkic will be coming up against Barcelona for the first time since leaving the club a few seasons ago. AC Milan have been one of the biggest teams in Europe, but they have been struggling of late. They finished second in the group, which means that they have been drawn against a strong team like Barcelona in the last 16 stage. However, it gives Bojan with the opportunity to score against his former club.

Even if the forward scores in the match, he will not be celebrating the goal according to the 22-year-old. Bojan came through the youth academy at the Spanish club many seasons ago, but left the club for Roma a few seasons ago after not getting regular first-team football. Barcelona are clear favourites to win the tie after coming into the match on the back of spectacular form. They are undefeated in the domestic league, while also managing to drop only two points in the 19 matches played so far. Milan, meanwhile, are closer to the bottom half of the table in the Italian Serie A.

"It will be extra special for me. God willing I hope to be lucky enough to face Barca. We are in a state of transition. Milan want to get the stability back and I think we can do it. We have good players, a good team and we will keep improving," said the 22-year-old, who is currently on loan from Roma till the end of the season. After making a small comeback in the league, Milan once again had a setback in the form of the 4-2 defeat at the hands of Roma during the weekend.
