KRKIC TURNED DOWN ENGLISH MOVE

Roma striker Bojan Krkic has said that he choose Roma because he loved to play for the Italian team. He also said that he had a number of offers from various countries including England.

It is thought that clubs like Tottenham and Chelsea had shown an interest in the striker, but Bojan Krkic decided in the end to move to Italy. He also said that the offers from Chelsea, Tottenham and PSG were much better on a financial level than the one offered by Roma. However, the chance to play regular football with an Italian team was simply too good to turn down by the former Barcelona striker.

Bojan Krkic found opportunities limited for Barcelona at the end of last season and decided to leave the club in order to become a better player. He was initially regarded as one of the greatest prospects in world football, but it has not worked out in the same way for the youngster. Still, there were plenty of clubs showing interest in the striker, who can also play on the wings. It is thought that Chelsea were keen to sign the youngster given that they had a squad full of old players. The arrival of Andre Villas-Boas seems to have brought the focus back to the youngsters.

It is thought that Bojan Krkic would have been a part of Chelsea's rebuilding process, but Bojan Krkic has revealed that he has turned to the London club down. "Roma were not the only club interested in me. Chelsea, Tottenham and PSG made me offers that were worth more to me on a financial level, but I wanted to join Roma. I believe in the project here, even if it has been difficult at times," Bojan told La Repubblica. Bojan Krkic has been playing regularly for Roma this season.
