KRKIC SURPRISED BY BOATENG

Former Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic has said that he is extremely surprised with the progress made by AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng.

The Ghanaian midfielder is regarded as one of the best players at AC Milan, which comes as a surprise for the AS Roma striker. Bojan Krkic joined the Italian club in the summer after coming through the youth academy at Barcelona.

Roma paid a transfer fee of £13 million for the striker, who is expected to be one of the best in the future. For now, the Spaniard is more surprised about the progress made by Kevin Prince Boetang at AC Milan.

AC Milan and Barcelona were drawn against each other in the quarter-final stage of the Champions League this season. To the surprise of many, AC Milan managed to get a draw against Barcelona in the first leg. Bojan Krkic was one of those surprised at the lack of a Barcelona win at the San Siro given the way they have been dominating the competition in recent seasons. One of the best players in the game was Kevin Prince Boetang, who created many opportunities for AC Milan, although they could not take their opportunities. Prior to moving to AC Milan, Kevin Prince Boetang was playing with English club Portsmouth, who were down near the bottom of the table. The English club are currently set to be relegated to the third division of English football.

“He has got character. He is one of the players who has surprised me. Physically he is an animal, but he can also play with both feet and he is a powerful player. If you add this to his character you will say he is a very successful player. He links the midfield and attack beautifully,” Krkic said regarding Kevin Prince Boetang.
