Krkic Set To Leave Ajax

Bojan Krkic is almost certain to leave Ajax at the end of the season, as his latest message to the fans appear to reveal the same. The Barcelona striker is expected to return to his parent club at the end of the season. He has been on loan at Ajax for the season. It has been a good campaign for him, as his team finished top of the Dutch Eredivisie with a four-point advantage over second placed Feyenoord. On a personal level, it was not the greatest campaign since he managed just four goals in 24 appearances. The 24-year-old appears to have lost his way in the last few years.

He was once regarded as the best talent to come from the Barcelona youth academy since the days of Lionel Messi. However, after moving to Roma and not doing well, his confidence appears to have suffered a dip in form. Despite this, the Spanish international looks set to return to Barcelona for the pre-season training. His future and the next destination will be much clearer upon his performances during this period. After helping his team with the Dutch league title, Krkic posted a message saying that he is extremely grateful for their support and he hopes that Ajax return to their former glory with regard to the Champions League.

"Thank AJAX for this incredible year!'m Very grateful to all of you fans for the support you have given me., I think it has been a successful season in which we won two titles. This morning I decided together with the club that the next two weeks to continue training in Toekmost. Wherever you go in the coming years, I'll take the philosophy, style of play and passion play in here. Will always have a place in my heart!,” said the striker.
