Allardyce believes his squad deserved a point against United

West Ham United played a thrilling Premier League match with Manchester United which concluded with Manchester United managing to scrape a 2-1 victory but the manager of West Ham United, Sam Allardyce believes that his squad earned and deserved at least 1 point out of the match.
The match kicked off with Manchester United scoring 2 goals in the first half through Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie but West Ham United responded a few minutes later with Sakho as he salvaged 1 goal for his club.
Sam Allardyce and his squad had a chance to equalize the match after Wayne Rooney was removed and sent off of the pitch after receiving a straight red card which left West Ham United with a numerical advantage.
When Wayne Rooney was removed from the match West Ham United went all out in the attack in search for the equalizer as the squad of Sam Allardyce wanted to capitalize on their numerical advantage and try to get 1 point against Manchester United.
Kevin Nolan was introduced into the pitch at the 75th minute as he replaced Diego Poyet and the 32 year old English midfielder connected with a cross from Carl Jenkinson and scored from close range but moments later the goal was denied as it was ruled offside.
Sam Allardyce was frustrated by the decision of the assistant referee as the English manager says that it was an incorrect ruling from the authority in the pitch.
Allardyce told Sky Sports: “Somebody told me his nose or his head might be offside, but I don’t think you can base a decision on the fact that it’s a nose or a head offside. There’s no way if that’s the case that the assistant referee can see it. For me it’s blatantly onside and it should have stood as a goal. Nobody else can convince me any other way’’.
