AC MUST DO BETTER
The striker of AC Milan, Bojan Krkic, has said that his team will play better in the upcoming matches and will definitely move up in the points table. The performance of AC Milan in the current season has been pretty dismal so far and the team is currently placed at no. 11 in the Serie A points table.
AC Milan has played 7 matches in the ongoing Serie A League so far and has managed to win only 2 out of them. The team last been defeated in four matches and the remaining 1 match has ended in a draw. In its last match against the arch- rivals Inter Milan, AC Milan got defeated by a close margin of 0-1. Inter Milan took the lead in the 4th minute with the goal of Walter Adrian Samuel and kept the lead till the end of the match.
When asked about that match against Inter Milan, Krkic said, “We performed decently in that match. Our defenders, in particular, were brilliant. In the last two matches, we have been defeated by close margins. I think we should be a bit more aggressive during the vital moments of the match.”
“I am sure that the team will play better in the further matches. We have got a good bunch of players and we are capable of defeating any team in the competition.”
Krkic had joined AC Milan at the start of the current season on loan. He has been given regular playing opportunities at Milan. The Spanish striker has been included in the starting XI in three matches. When asked about his tenure at Milan so far, Krkic said, “I have been enjoying my time over here. I am really grateful to the manager that he has shown confidence in me and has given me regular chances till now. I am looking forward to the upcoming match against Lazio and hopefully, we would put up an improved performance at Stadio Olimpico.”
